Fall Dates for Coaching Collaborative - All Mondays

September 16, September 30, October 7, October 21, November 4, and November 18

  6:30 to 8:30 PM EST

Sayda Chapa,  Texas

I received a lot validation on my coaching practice. At the same time, there were some approaches that I have not thought about and I would like to implement. It has been a regenerating experience!
Thank you so much :)

Lina Lopez-Ryan,  Mass.

The Peeling An Onion protocol was powerful...we saw how presenting a dilemma to a group, unpacking and appreciating and considering different perspectives, and how by the end the whole process becomes more solution oriented - again the power of collaboration.

Makuena Lista,

Lesotho, Southern Africa

I had no solid ideas about what coaching would be like...and this group helped me see what challenges there could be and how I might have to reflect on how to become a better coach.

Join Us to Grow Your Coaching Practice!

Come be a part of our Coach Connection Collaborative. This personalized experience will involve small group time with Polly and Marta which focuses on developing a collegial group that will work on extending and enriching your coaching practice.

For many coaches, we are the only ones with our roles in a school or district.  It’s critical for us to have colleagues who can be our thought-partners, who can support us to improve our own practice as we try to transform mathematics classrooms.

Why Join Us ?

Do you think you’d benefit from meeting regularly with a small group of educators who can act as thought-partners as you navigate the complex work of improving the practice of mathematics teaching and coaching? Do you have dilemmas you want guidance on? Do you want to think deeply with other colleagues who are actively trying to make an impact on teachers’ and students’ lives? This group will be facilitated by Marta and Polly who bring years of experience to the work of coaching coaches.

You will experience:

  • Two facilitators

  • Small, personalized experience

  • Share Problems of Practice

  • Thought partners, coaches, researchers and others

  • Practical action oriented topics and discussions

  • Field tested protocols and frameworks to guide work

  • An opportunity for working with and developing coaching strategies with a small group

  • Balance between structure and individual needs

  • Can include one on one coaching
